David has worked with us seasonally on a part time (and often close to full time!) basis since
February of 2008 in the capacity of upper level math and science tutor. In this capacity he assists our
students in understanding and completing their assignments in subjects such as calculus, statistics,
astronomy, physics, and economics. As our relationship has grown, David has become our "go to"
man for all advanced level math and science classes, freeing up our full time staff in a way that was
not possible before his hiring.
At face value, David is a brilliant and extraordinarily knowledgeable asset. But there is more. David
has a genuine love of educating young minds. He is at his best when coaching a student who is
having difficulty with an advanced concept. David has the ability to connect with his students and the
capability to deliver information in as many different ways as necessary until the concept is grasped
and assimilated. His use of the Socratic method to engage his students and inspire critical thinking is
brilliant to observe.
I have nothing but positive comments regarding David and would recommend him without hesitation
for any position involved in the education of young minds.

In my senior year of high school I was struggling with AP Statistics, when David became my tutor. He went above and beyond to help me. David explained lesson concepts and worked through actual problems so that I would have a full understanding of the subject as opposed to just memorizing steps. David worked extensively to help me raise my grade in this class. Due to Davids assistance I both passed the class and the exam. I scored a 4 on the AP test and will be able to use that credit towards college. I would highly recommend David as a tutor for anyone struggling in academics who needs a patient and dedicated tutor to help them succeed.

When I was taking very difficult courses in high school is was extremely tough. I struggled at first as a sophomore, but over the past two years, David has helped me not only pass, but excel in physics B, Physics C, and even passing Calculus 2 and 3. David knows how to clearly explain tough subjects better than any teacher and no one is more knowledgeable about these subjects then him.
