Introduction: Talin's Tropical Studio is a very warm and encouraging environment to paint in. Each person has their own style and elements of painting or wanting to create. The individual is encouraged. And because of this, our students are very successful very quickly, finishing paintings for their own pleasure and or selling their work right away! Seeing students accomplish what they came for quickly and seeing their happiness and sense of accomplishment when they leave a class.

All week long I look forward to my Saturday morning studio time with Talin. I had never painted before going to one of her open classes, and now I am getting requests from family and friends to paint wall hangings they want to showcase in their homes. Talin is a great artist and a wonderful teacher. She keeps it fun and you will leave with an amazing painting on your first day! She has some extremely talented students, it is an inspiration to paint with them all.

Talin is an extremely talented artist and teacher with the patience of a saint.. She has taught me to paint in a way that I could have never imagined.. One stroke of her brush technique and my artwork became a masterpiece..Well, at least to me.. Classes are the best!! Thanks to Talin's patience and expertise I have learned to become an artiste..

It has been my good fortune to attend weekly classes from Ms. Talin Jonhnson for the past severAal years. Like most peiople, I didn't think I could ever paint anything. But with her cheerful, encouraging persona, her obvious knowledge of the arts (she plays the piano like a virtuoso, sings like a canary, and REALLY knows painting. Most importantly, SHE IS AN INCREDIBLE TEACHER!-Outstanding! Sandy Simon
