FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I hold a strategy session with a prospective client typically for 30 minutes to one hour. During that time we get to know each other; I learn about the reason the person is seeking my help; and I describe the legal issues involved, the methods I may employ to get the desired result, and the fee structure for the representation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed member of the bar of Florida, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. In November 2012, I opened my Maryland practice, under the trade name, Feder Legal Services. As of July 2017, I opened Feder Legal, PLLC, to assist clients in Florida. I earned my juris doctorate (law degree) in 2009 from the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating cum laude with a concentration in Family Law. I was awarded my bachelor's degree in English, with a focus on language, writing, and rhetoric, in 2006 by the University of Maryland.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with individuals from all social, economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, as well as small business owners.
