- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge based on distance traveled (it does cost gas to go anywhere) and how long the ceremony is expected to be. But realistically, my prices are very negotiable. I'm not doing this to make a lot of money. I'm doing this to help people out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once someone hires me, I find out exactly what they want. If they are not exactly sure (most of my customers are first timers to getting married) I will answer any questions they have and help them figure out what they want if they need that. I send them a copy of how their ceremony will go. Between them and myself, we work to make it exactly as they want it to be.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In this line of work, you have to be well spoken and not afraid to speak in front of people. Reading and writing. I also find that I must research the laws in each area to assure that nothing will prevent the customer from being completely satisfied.
