Mr .Birchard text to set a date, and the address. He was very professional in a very friendly manner, looked over the property and gave final price, which was very reasonable. He completed the job in a timely manner. I was very satisfied . A job well done.

Mathew's response to my initial inquiry for services was the only one that was extremely professional & addressed everything on my list of service requirements & whose response included his mission statement to clarify & fulfill clients' expectations or refund their payment. SAME HERE Arin. He started out with us great. Mowed with a push mower stating that it may looked better. We agreed. He was just starting out when we hired him. He is a very nice person and does good work, but switched quickly to a riding mower, increased our rate and got so busy that we were, repeatedly, forgotten about. So, our yard would end up in dire need of care looking embarrassingly awful until we could get fitted in to the schedule. We were sorry to have to let him go.

Helping to clean up after some land clearing, planting bulbs, testing soil, pruning, etc. Mathew retains information and remembers to relay information at the end of the day, as previously directed. He also has a pleasant attitude and seems concerned about doing a good job.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet them in person, discuss the job, then offer a quote. depending on the job it may require that we complete initial design concepts before i can offer a good bid, but that portion of my work is always free. once we've reached an agreement, I like to go over details and finalize the plans, including when the work is to be done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my permaculture design certification, I've studied landscape maintenance and sustainability, and I'm actively studying agricultural sciences with Oregon state University (via correspondence).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a love of plants. I did a year long apprenticeship in herbology, got my permaculture design certification, and have always done small landscaping and gardening endeavors. Its just what i love.
