I was initially worried as i am not one with great posing shots. A stiff one. But Darin went along with that and started pulling out my playful spontanaeity; he made it work. Upon explaining my ideas, and later hearing snippets of my music, the results i started seeing in the shoot started bearing character that felt in synergy with what i was looking for. Darin is a consummate professional. Prior to the photo shoot, he responded to all my inquiries promptly and provided me with helpful information. He showed on time and gave helpful direction during the photo shoot. Approximately one hour after the shoot he provided me with proofs. After I selected my preferred head shots, Darin made the changes I suggested and provided me with the final product that day. The final product turned out wonderfully. I am pleased with my pictures and would not hesitate to use Darin's services again.

Darin was very cooperative in working under the time constraints I had in shooting photos for an editorial article. Since I did not live in the area, I relied on him to take control of the shoot with minimal direction from myself. His photos captured exactly what I wanted to portraywhat life was like for veterans in a retirement home. Darin also went the extra mile and made personal prints for each of the veterans he photographed. I would certainly hire him again!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask their needs:when do they need the photos, what is their budget, take time to understand what they really want to use the photos for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take classes every three months to keep up dated on photo shop, I attend workshops in NY every 6 months and have over 20 magazines subscriptions to keep up with the latest trends in photography.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a photographer because I loved shooting snowboarding and music.
