Introduction: We take alot of pride into every dish we create. From handpicking every ingredient, flavor profile, wine pairing and plate to serve it on, just to accommodate you and your guests. We are driven by passion and a love for creating lasting memories. We focus on small intimate events, and do not offer large scale catering. This allows us to be creative with the menu, taking time to do the detailed prep, and dinner service. The Chef: Originally from Brooklyn New York, I migrated to Jamaica when I was younger where I spent 16 years. My passion for food started from just being in the kitchen and watching my mother cook, and wanting to try a little of everything. This passion soon turned into a career in the hospitality industry. I was trained professionally at PTC where I spent 3 years perfecting my craft. Also placing #1 in Skills USA annual regional competition for culinary arts. I had the pleasure of Chef Matthew preparing a birthday meal for my family while visiting Orlando. Matthew was punctual, and professional and the food was excellent!! His attention to detail was unmatched. He even noticed without me mentioning that my brother did not like sauce on his food and for each course placed the sauce on the side. We thoroughly enjoyed Matthew's cuisine and if ever in the Orlando area again would use his services.

The meal Chef Matthew prepared was outstanding! We didn’t know what to expect as this was our first experience with a personal chef. He arrived on time and worked very efficiently to have everything completed in order for us to sit down and enjoy by 6:30 as discussed. He also cleaned up before having to travel another 2.5-3 hrs back to his home in Clearwater. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the future .

The event: My wedding celebration, in our lakeside backyard, of approximately 50-person wedding celebration with a specific vision — personal sized, customizable grilled pizzas and Caesar salads. I discovered Chef Matthew on Thumbtack. He was easy to contact and communicate with and understood what I was trying to achieve. Kitchen situation: Our event took place at our home and 2.5 acre back yard. Our home is quite old, and the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. Further, our backyard where the grill is and where pizzas were served was yet another challenging environment to work in. Chef Matthew prepared and served food in stride despite these obstacles, preparing and serving great food and always with a great attitude. Food: The pizzas and salads were delicious beyond expectation. There was a lot of good feedback about the food. As planned, Chef Matthew arrived early to prepare the pizza dough and salads fresh on site and set up the outdoor grill area himself. Even with an unconventional and exacting request like personalized grilled pizzas made to order, his execution was impeccable. Professionalism: Through and through, Chef Matthew was a professional. My guests had many wonderful things to say about their interactions with him. Problem solving/creativity: I am so impressed with Chef Matthew’s willingness and ability to bring my vision to fruition. He made me feel completely comfortable and confident, so my husband and I were able to truly enjoy our event. Recommend: 5/5 – I couldn’t have imagined a better Chef for this event. We hired Chef Matt to be our private chef for Thanksgiving. This was no easy task, we had 17 family and friends attend. Let me tell you , This was the best personal chef experience I’ve ever had. From the on sight, we talked through what I wanted and before Chef Matt even accepted, he wanted to ensure he could perform a flawless meal. Chef Matt listened to me when I had concerns and gave solutions with confidence. He put out an amazing presentation and did a great job cleaning. I will hire Chef Matt again.
