I've always loved animals. I've had a cat in my life since I was 3. My best friend calls me The Cat Whisperer. My husband (& cat) won't let me get more cats, so I decided to start pet sitting after helping my friend with some of her sittings & dog walking when she was injured. I love spoiling your fur babies while you are out of town. I'm also able to give medications. I have also owned a dog, birds, chickens, fish, rabbits, turtles & hamsters. I even have some experience with horses. I've bird sat small & large birds as well. My visits include feeding, changing the water, cleaning out litter or picking up poo on walks, playing, talking, chin scratches (lots of them!) & petting, cuddling & kisses. I can also administer meds, if needed. If you have house plants, I can water them & also collect your mail & papers, if needed. I'll send you text messages to let you know how your fur baby is doing along with a few pictures every day.

I've hired Teresa twice, and will definitely hire her again. She does a great job with our cats, Freckles and Sunny. She brings toys and tries to keep them engaged while she's visiting, and she's good about sending updates with photos. From the first meet-and-greet, it was obvious that Teresa has a genuine passion for animals — which makes her an excellent pet sitter!

It's a comfort to know that our cats are in good hands with Teresa when we are away. She took the time to find all three of our kitties and send us photos every day, even our extremely shy girl who is good at hiding. Our not-so-shy guy clearly enjoyed playing with the new toys she brought. We would definitely call on Teresa again to care for our pets.

We hired Teresa to pet sit our 2 dogs while we had a wedding to go to. All I needed was someone to come and let the dogs out and then feed them and make sure they went potty before she left. Teresa went above and beyond all that. She brought in my mail, fed everyone, and took pictures of my fur babies. She even took the time to pet one of my cats who decided to see what was going on. Will definitely hire again for my future pet sitting needs.

Teresa is truly a “cat whisperer”! She took care of our fur babies while we were on vacation and treated them with care. I received several pictures a day with a daily update. We saw one of our cats gravitate to her immediately when she interviewed, and decided that we needn’t look any further. We have 5 fur babies, and she made sure that each one got the proper needs and attention. It’s also really important to have a feeling of trust with your sitter, and there are no worries with Teresa! Don’t hesitate hiring her!

Teresa is very conscientious and sent updates and photos. My fur babies were experiencing separation anxiety since it has been so long since I was away. She calmed them and took excellent care of them. I would use her again for any long trips I was planning.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a 30 minute visit, based on the 1st pet, I charge $25. For 1 hr, I charge $35. Overnights are $70+, depending on job & number of pets. Each additional pet is $5.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will meet with you & get to know your pets, find out what you need completed at each visit, where food & litter boxes are located, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Miami. I've owned multiple cats over the years & have had experience administering medications. I've also owned an Alaskan Malamute, a lop eared bunny, fish, chickens, turtles, finches, & hamsters.
