The painter showed up to give an estimate , We did A Walk Thru on a small 2 bedroom townhouse what would be painted two coats from a beige to a gray , baseboards painted , small nail holes fixed , repaint fresh-looking coat of paint for unit for sale. The painter told me to buy 10 gallons of wall paint and 3 gallons of door and trim paint. Which I did at Sherman Williams. Jonathan stated that there was a quick job and it would be done in about 3 days. The painter showed up the next day and started painting I gave him half the money up front. Since that day nobody showed up for 3 Days also I kept hearing from Jonathan on a text is he will be there and never showed up. Also he said he would be done by the end of the week. That would mean Friday. He sent one or two people for a couple hours in and out of my property in a gated community and he never showed up. To say the least the job is below average. There's only one coat of paint on the walls smeared and cut is all see through. He painted over all of the holes never patched anything and left a few small nails and screws in the walls and painted right over them . He was painting over switch plates when I sent a text to please remove switch plates and cover plates he got upset and said that would be extra . Never seen a painter do that before. The baseboards were rolled with a rough roller they are not smooth and only have one coat of paint. He was supposed to paint 5 doors he only painted 4 and doors only have one coat of paint and were never sanded or roughed up and have small imperfections. The bathroom area and behind a toilet and walls are totally missed with paint and the newly retiled walls in the bathroom have gray paint all over them and all over the edges where the metal Schluter strips finish the tile Edge. This is been a sloppy paint job . These workers need to be accountable for themselves and quality of work . And the owner of the company needs to assure he is sending someone that can do quality work and has experience I'm going to try to attach below as many pictures as this will allow how ever it says the file is too big. We have a complete file of pictures and items that will be repaired by Marty's custom homeworks I will also attach his invoice. This is been a big inconvenience and has set us back some time on completing this job. I do not recommend hiring this company whatsoever and thumbtack should remove them from the site.
