Anna is very easy to work with. She is a good listener and has been very helpful in helping me learn piano basics. Thank you Anna!Sep 11, 2020Verified
I live in New York and take weekly lessons with Anna over the internet. This lady is wonderful. Her method of teaching is great. She is all technologied up which enables better learning. Taking lessons with Anna allows me to have subscriptions of both on and offline learning - an added bonus. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you for everything you are. teaching me!Aug 14, 2020VerifiedFagan Piano Studio, Inc.'s reply
Thanks, Karl! I’m enjoying our lessons. It’s a pleasure to work with students all over the country now!
My daughter is so happy learning keyboard with Anna. Anna is amazing and keeps the child interested all through the class as well as in touch with the child through the week if there are any doubts/questions. I never imagined virtual keyboard lessons would be so fun and interactive. I totally recommend Fagan Piano Studio.Aug 15, 2020
This piano teacher got back to me quickly, but in gathering more information about lessons this instructor was condescending. She has not heard me play and when I mentioned the piece that I want to learn next, she implied that I would not be able to learn it. Now, out of spite I want to learn the piece even more. I do not recommend this teacher if you want to be encouraged to try new things or be challenged.Sep 26, 2020VerifiedFagan Piano Studio, Inc.'s reply
Kay, I’m so sorry that my comments led you to feel that I didn’t think you could learn La Campanella. I was only comparing its level of difficulty to your current repertoire (Fur Elise and Maple Leaf Rag). As I explained, I like for my students to be working on a variety of pieces. It’s great to have a piece that will take you several months to learn, but I think it’s also important to be working on some pieces that are a bit faster to complete. I would never want to be condescending to anyone. This one-star review makes my heart hurt, especially following what I thought was a wonderfully candid phone conversation.
My daughter Lynette started piano three years ago. At first I thought it would be almost impossible for her to juggle all of her school work and piano lessons. However, it has actually been the best thing my daughter has worked on for the past three years. Ana offers differentiated lessons through an Accelerated Lab approach where students pace themselves with her support and guidance. Lynette has felt pride in the pieces she has learned as Ana will always bring the stage to her students for yearly recitals. It is always a family event! Thank you Ana for all you do!Aug 21, 2019Review from GoogleFagan Piano Studio, Inc.'s reply
I'm so proud of Lynette's hard work - she has been a joy!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?During the school year – August through May – lessons are paid via a monthly tuition at the beginning of each month. I do teach during the summer, and students pay only for the lessons that they schedule – with a minimum of six lessons in order to hold their spot in my studio.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a FREE trial lesson - online via Zoom or RockOutLoud - in order to meet and discuss the student’s individual goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance, and regularly attend workshops to keep my skills current.
