I'm from Bogotá Colombia. According to Victor Garcia de la Concha, Director of the Real Academia de la Lengua Esapañola (RAE), in Colombia the Spanish language is neutral without any accent, and has the best Spanish speakers. I love teaching Spanish, I have the experience teaching Spanish since 1994 when my older son was born, both of my kids speak, read, write and comprehend Spanish perfectly, even though they grew up and live in the USA. I worked in an elementary school more than 10 years. I have experience teaching Spanish to elementary, middle and high schoolers and also adults.
I am very creative and I use a lot of resources and activities so my students enjoy their classes, and stay engaged and interested throughout their lessons.

Today was my daughter's first class and I'm super happy because my daughter is only 3 and I know is hard to keep her focused on something but the teacher did so good it was a very engaging class for my daughter with multiple activities to keep her entertained as she's learning. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always met my clients just to know a little bit about them, their expectations, their goals, knowledge of the language, what he /she likes, etc. then I have an idea, I prepare my classes according with each client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first education is that I am Spanish native speaker. I am studying in ELE international Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain) to have my Spanish Teacher Certification (Spain).
I also have a certificate from Neuroscience Institute (NCI) in life couching.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When my son was born and he started his pk, I noticed that his fluency in Spanish was weaking due he was learning English at school, so I decided to start teaching him Spanish at home. we read, writed, played, singed and did all the activities just in Spanish. when my second boy was born, I did the same, now I am super proud to say they both are fluent in both languages. Many of my friends'kids lost their Spanish as their primary language, because their parents didn't do what I did.
