I would highly recommend Affordable Interior Concepts remodeling. They took the time to listen to our ideas. The finished products was far beyond our expectations.

AIC has replaced the countertops and sinks in our kitchen previously and we invited them back to do our bathrooms. They are great to work with.

Working with this company has been the absolute worst experience. They no called no showed several times. Damaged our cabinets. Didn’t measure one of our countertops correctly and blamed it on us. He then submitted a change order for an additional 1,000 because he says he couldn’t get our whole kitchen done in one slab of quartz. We didn’t agree to this so now we are left with an incomplete kitchen. He installed our kitchen sink, we waited 4 days after installation to hook up the faucet and actually use it, we put dishes in it and the entire sink fell in.

Affordable Interior Concepts DBA YHG Construction's reply
This customer decided to do their own construction in their home during the kitchen remodel just before Thanksgiving. The cabinets fit exactly as measured and with the walls with the construction doing on. When it was time to install the bottom cabinets. The measurements were not the same as measured in the begin of the construction by the customer. Since there was still on going construction for a new pass thru for the kitchen. The countertops could would off in measurements. I asked the customers husband when will the pass thru be completed? He said he would finish it before he left town. The countertops were already cut anticipating no measurements changed. We arrived with the countertops and the sink countertop only, was off by 1” 3/8. Since the cabinets were the right fit. Something changed after we installed all the cabinets. We told the customer we will recut the sink countertop and install it. The customer used the short cut countertop to log a claim that they never received what they paid for, knowing we had to return and put in all the countertops and finish the kitchen install. There was no need to file any claims when a lot more had to be done to finish their kitchen. We returned to do a remeasure of the pass thru countertop since her husband DID NOT finished the pass thru as he said he would. We had to cut a hard template and get him on the phone to tell us how much overhang and direction of the pass thru countertop. We took the template to our fabrication shop. We found out that there would no be enough slab for the remeasured pass thru. And if the customer still wanted the bigger size countertop. They would have to purchase an additional slab. The customer refused to pay for the much bigger size pass thru countertop. Yes there were two small fixable damages to 1 drawer and a fridge spacer. I told the customer would fix these things. Days later I get a $2,035 negative in my account. I see that this customer filed a complaint on the countertop we had to replace and was later fully installed correctly. I told the customer that this is fraud. We had an obligation to complete the job as planned. And that would could also get the remaining balance due upon completion of the job. We are out $2,034 for the countertops installed. And $900 for the completion of the kitchen cabinets. The customer still owes us $2,934.
