FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My usual rates include some minimal incidental materials and for projects with little to no materials I can usually get those prices down. If you are a veteran/first responder, struggling on fixed income, or open to being a promotional job let me know as I can typically adjust pricing some in these situations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I contact the lead or opportunity with and approximate bid, usually an hourly rate and asking follow up details to better understand the job. This will give me a chance to more accurately bid your project and best meet your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tinkering and building since I was a child, in middle school I entered STEM programs including wood shop classes, and engineering courses. In High school I spent 4 years in shop, taking courses on architecture, design, surveying, project management, building codes, and ADA regulations. For the past 15 years I have worked in the construction and mill work industries furthering that knowledge and experience.
