My water bill humped from its usual $150-ish charge to almost $1400 last month. Clearly, there was a leak. Taylor, owner of A-1 Plumbing& Air Conditioning came out about an hour after I contacted him. Well mannered and professional, he found the leaky pipe under my house and repaired it at a very reasonable price . This is after being told by the previous company I’d called that the entire pipe had to replaced in the range of $7K-$8K!! A-1 also repairs Air Conditioning and Heating. I could not be happier or more relieved to have found a reliable, honest and responsive company!!

Great communication and punctuality. However, we were charged $405 dollars for an electronic leak test of our HVAC system which took about 5 minutes. Spoke with several other HVAC experts in the area and they all agreed that we were severely overcharged. After speaking with other experts we decided to not move forward with the repair of the evaporator coil which would have cost us $3165. Found another company in the area that agreed to do it for $2100 which aligned with market research data.

Brian thanks for the great review but to let others know we charged you the $405 for the diagnostic/coming out at 7am on a Saturday morning(which is an emergency call) AND performing a leak test…. We think that’s very reasonably priced. Our technicians are taught to go over all the options before work is performed so you did agree to the $405 originally. We are sorry you were unsatisfied with our work. Good luck with your repair.
