Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Buyer: Most buyers just hope in a car and start driving around looking for yourself time and grief and
1) Get qualified for a loan-ask your realtor if they know of someone reliable, and you can alway talk to more than one loan officer
2) Hire a Realtor. Yup..that's what it says. That means take the time to interview several (at least three) so that you can compare. Have a list of questions...
3) Make sure that you are represented..if this is not discussed during the interview, your prospect does not know what they are doing
4) Don't base your decision on looks, or how cute they are- you're not getting married!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Sellers: Not sure if you want to sell your home? Do you think you might be upside down in your mortgage?
1) Find a Realtor that is short sale certified and has been able to get short sales accepted and closed.
2) Decide if you really want or need to sell. SE Florida Values have dropped anywhere from 35-50% of what they were in 2007. Don't shoot the messenger!
3) Over Pricing your home and expecting your Realtors to bring over droves of buyers and oodles of contracts is unrealistic- no matter if you have beautiful tile or faux walls. It just won't happen..........
4) Hopefully you've interviewed several agents and 'hired' the one that will do the best job for you. Now...step out of the way and let them do their job. Also,
here' a thought, have you given them permission to be honest with you in all their reports
