Specific behaviors to address
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I started this company to help people and their dogs. I know what it feels like to struggle with a dog and I want people to know they don't need to struggle anymore. So many families struggle out there with their family dogs and it doesn't have to be that way. Dogs are surrendered to shelters or re-homed due to bad behavior such as barking, jumping, being too hyper, pulling on the leash, when all of these behaviors are easily fixed. Many owners try to give their dogs the best life possible, unfortunately some of the things owners do tend to create bad behaviors without even realizing it. I am here to help you shed light on how to create a mutual respect between you and your dog. I enjoy helping, educating, and empowering people to obtain that dog they have always wanted. Your dog should not ever be a hassle, burden, or inconvenience. My goal is to help you include your dog into your life more because they are a joy to have around.

I adopted a Doberman in May of 2016. This was a challenge to say the least. He was scared of people, had extreme anxiety when we would crate him while gone, and he would not go to the bathroom outside. While I felt sad for him, the stress was really starting to wear on my family. Thats when I called Lucky Paws K9 training. I could see a difference in the first few visits. After a few private lessons I decided that the board and train would be the most beneficial and let me tell you about the transformation. After 4 weeks, our beloved pet was crate trained, potty trained and was a loving asset to our family. Lucky Paws not only cares about the training aspect but truly treats your dog like family! I would highly recommend!!

I brought my bay to Lucky Paws because she had become aggressive. In two weeks, Rob had Dory listening, placing, not pulling on her leash, and willingly going into her kennel! After a slight setback due to a medical issue, he came to my house, and agreed to take her for an additional 6 days for some more work. She has not so much as growled at me in the few days she has been back, and I feel like have my baby back! I am grateful to all the help Rob at Lucky Paws provided, and would highly recommend!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Speak with clients via phone, text, or email about their needs and goals. Then find what path is best for them and their pet.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Like most of my clients, my dog was out of control. I understand what it's like to feel helpless and thinking you might have to give dog away. I've been to trainer's that said I should put my dog down. I don't want people to have all the bad experience I did. I want to help people understand why these things are happening and how to fix it! We will work together to solve any problems.
