I recently had the absolute pleasure of hiring SMO Table to cook a sensational meal fory parents' 50th anniversary, and I cannot express how thrilled I am with the entire experience! This was my first time working with a private chef, and everything exceeded all expectations. First and foremost, Chef Sami's professionalism and attention to detail is outstanding. He patiently worked with me to create a personalized menu that captured the essence of the occasion and my family's tastes and preferences. He was always accommodating and offered lots of options to satisfy our requests for the meal, including some very picky little ones. The evening of the event, Chef Sami arrived with his crew and immediately got to work prepping the food while we relaxed and enjoyed drinks. We hardly noticed that they were there, but if we had any questions or someone wanted to see the pasta-making up close, Chef Sami graciously paused to answer our questions and share his love of cooking with us. Chef Sami's demeanor is warm and friendly, and his passion for food is palpable. It was evident that he not only possessed exceptional culinary skills but also a genuine love for creating memorable dining experiences. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The SMO Table team handled everything with utmost professionalism, seamlessly orchestrating the evening while allowing us to relax and savor every moment. Our glasses were always filled, but we didn't notice their presence. They worked diligently behind the scenes, ensuring that the kitchen remained spotless throughout the evening. The food itself was outstanding! Family who had just been in Italy commented that the pasta was perfection. I heard "this is the best lobster I've ever had" from several guests. Even something as simple as the sauce for the shrimp cocktail was elevated to something divine by SMO Table. Beyond the culinary expertise, what set Chef Sami apart was his genuine warmth and personable nature. Sami made the most delicious and memorable meal for us. He and his staff were professional, on time and made everything according to what we choose. His filet was outstanding. Many in our group commented it was the best steak they ever had and many admitted they had been to expensive steak restaurants previously. His pasta was great, dessert great and everyone raved about his bacon jam crostini, same for huge shrimp. We spent a week in Orlando and many said this experience was the best. I would highly recommend SMO.
