- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My flat rate for logos typically start at $100. For any revisions to designs it will cost $20 per revision. Illustrations such as sketch/digital paintings vary from $80-$500 depending on project details, size and concept etc. Mural paintings range from $60-$100 hour + supplies and time or flat rate starting at $450 on up. I offer flat rate fees, although every project is different. I need an idea of what my client needs before providing them a firm, flat fee. Every client I have worked with were satisfied with my price rates, much more affordable & fair then most.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer speaking with customer over phone or if possible face to face. I tend to take notes so I can gather all information needed to do the best job possible and get to as close to what the customer needs. I also accept emails and I also prefer customer to send some reference images for help me create ideas closer to customer's needs. For example, if you need a logo, I'll need to have some idea of logos or styles of design that you prefer. Color scheme, logo themes etc. Same goes for flyer designs. If you need a custom hand drawn sketch or digital painting portrait, provide a high quality image of what customer needs me to illustrate/paint which includes the face(s) & clothing of person customer needs me to drawing/painting. Attach necessary items to an email and send them to me so I can get a clear idea.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been drawing all my life, I am self taught as I continue to sketch and study daily. I've taken community college drawing classes. I have an Associates degree in Visual Arts. 10+ years of experience in Adobe Photoshop, 3 years Adobe Illustrator and other digital art/design programs. I've attended many workshops for design, painting, anatomy and composition.
