What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Students are generally a little anxious at the initial tutoring session, so I try to put them at ease by getting to know them a little. I like to learn there likes and dislikes and what motivates them before digging into the subject matter.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a retired software engineer (25 years) with a master's degree in secondary mathematics education. I've also worked as a contract technical writer and basketball coach (10 years). This background makes me uniquely qualified to handle all aspects of ACT/SAT preparation.
