FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My portrait and couples sessions typically range from $400–$750, depending on session type and length. Most clients book my 1-hour Standard Session, which offers the best balance of time, variety, and value. Elopements and intimate weddings (typically under 25 guests) begin at $750, with pricing based on coverage needs and location. All sessions include professionally edited, high-resolution digital images delivered via an online gallery with full download and printing rights. A travel fee may apply for locations more than 20 miles from my base.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before reaching out, it helps to consider a few things: What will the photos be used for? (Engagement announcement, social media, personal keepsake, etc.) This helps determine which session option makes the most sense. Do you have a timeline in mind? If you need photos by a specific date, sharing that upfront helps ensure availability. How comfortable are you in front of the camera? If you feel nervous or camera-shy, that’s completely normal. Letting me know ahead of time allows me to guide the session in a way that feels relaxed and natural. Do you already have a location in mind? If so, feel free to share it when you reach out. Location guidance and recommendations are provided after booking to ensure everything is planned properly.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in working with individuals and couples, from camera-shy first-timers to confident personalities. Many of my clients include engaged couples, couples wanting updated photos, professionals needing personal branding images, and individuals looking for relaxed, natural lifestyle portraits. I intentionally focus on 1–2 people per session rather than large family or group shoots. For weddings, I only take on small, intimate celebrations. This focus allows me to provide a more personalized experience and consistently deliver natural, high-quality images.
