FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base tuning fee is $120, this includes a complete inspection of your piano. If your piano has not been tuned for more than a few years it could require what is called a pitch correction which is essentially an initial rough tuning to bring all the strings up to the correct tension or pitch. Pitch corrections cost an additional $50. Piano strings replacement $20 for treble strings. Bass strings cost between $30-60 and require a second appointment. I provide full service piano cleaning to rebuilding, these services require an initial appointment to give an accurate quote. Service calls outside or 30 miles or after hours can incur an additional fee. I waive this fee if your piano requires additional services besides a fine tuning ( I.e pitch correction, cleaning, regulation) or if you help me schedule another appointment in your area on the same day.
