FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard piano tuning starts at $150 and includes a complete inspection of your piano. If a piano has not been tuned in several years, it may require a pitch raise (pitch correction) to safely restore proper tension and pitch before fine tuning. Pitch raises are typically an additional $50.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every appointment begins with a professional inspection and evaluation of your piano. I assess tuning stability, overall condition, and any concerns before work begins. Once the inspection is complete, I explain my findings and provide clear recommendations and pricing so customers can make informed decisions with no surprises.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am classically trained in piano tuning and rebuilding and have been tuning pianos since 2017. My experience includes tuning, repair, regulation, cleaning, and restoration work for uprights, grands, and home studio pianos.
