- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a variety of window film options designed to meet different needs and budgets. Higher-performance films may provide greater heat rejection, energy efficiency, glare reduction, privacy, or added security benefits, which can affect the overall cost of the project. Every quote includes professional installation and we'll take the time to explain the differences between available film options so you can choose the solution that best fits your needs. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees and are happy to provide both remote and in-person estimates. For customers who are unsure which product is right for them, we're happy to meet in person and provide film samples so you can see and feel the differences before making a decision. Our goal is never to upsell you on the most expensive product—it's to recommend the film that will provide the greatest value and performance for your particular home or business. We occasionally offer seasonal promotions and discounts, so we encourage customers to ask about any current specials when requesting a quote.Our pricing depends on the type of film chosen for your project. For most residential projects it will be somewhere between $8-12 per sq ft.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Coastal Shield, we believe every project starts with understanding our customer's needs. We offer both remote and in-person quote options to make the process as convenient as possible. For remote quotes, we ask customers to provide the approximate dimensions of their windows along with the type of film they're interested in. If you're unsure which film is right for your home or business, we're happy to schedule an in-person consultation where we can bring film samples and explain the differences in performance, appearance, privacy, and energy-saving benefits. Our typical process includes: Initial Consultation – We discuss your goals, whether they're reducing heat, lowering energy costs, increasing privacy, reducing glare, improving security, or protecting your furnishings from UV damage. Quote Preparation – For remote estimates, we'll gather window measurements and your film preferences. For in-person consultations, we'll evaluate your space and provide recommendations based on your specific needs. Product Selection – We walk you through the available film options and explain the benefits of each so you can make an informed decision. We never believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Scheduling Installation – Once you've selected your preferred film, we'll schedule your installation at a time that's convenient for you. Professional Installation – Our goal is to provide a clean, professional installation with minimal disruption while treating your home or business with the same care we would our own. Post-Installation Support – We review the curing process, proper care instructions, and warranty information, and we're always available to answer questions after the installation is complete. Our philosophy is simple: we aren't just selling window film—we're providing solutions. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been residential window tint professionals for the last 5 years. We have recently relocated from South Carolina to Florida so are newer to the area, but not to the industry.
