Over 25 years of experience as a professional photographer. I have shot literally 100's of weddings. I also shoot engagement sessions, Boudoir photographs, family portraits on location, Real estate photographs and special events. I love to work with clients to ensure we have a fun session and capture the best possible shots whether it be formal portraits or candid's. With years of experience, I can ensure you will have fantastic images in an expedited manner all the while making sure everyone has a fun and unique experience ! I would give Colleen 10 stars if this website didn't limit me to 5! I first got in touch with Colleen via Thumbtack when I was looking for a photographer to capture my engagement proposal in Venice, FL. My fiance and I live in West Virginia and were planning a vacation in Venice for our 3-year anniversary. I was planning a surprise proposal on the beach, but since I had never been to Venice before, I was a bit worried about how it would all unfold. Colleen contacted me promptly via thumbtack after I submitted my information. We spoke over the phone and she was incredibly willing to help make sure that my proposal was flawless! Because I could not visit the area to plan it out, she personally drove over an hour to the spot where I wanted to propose to scout everything out. I can't tell you how much I appreciated this personal touch -- other photographers I contacted did not offer this level of customer service. I couldn't have pulled off the perfect proposal without her help! On the evening of the proposal, Colleen was camped out discretely on the beach with plenty of time to spare. She helped plan the perfect setup to capture the moment when I proposed! We did an engagement photo shoot directly after the proposal as the sun was setting on the beach. To be honest, I typically hate being photographed for any length of time, but Colleen made everything totally fun, relaxed, and enjoyable! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect proposal and photo shoot. Colleen immediately went to work editing photos, and we had several photos available that evening to share with friends and family. All the other photos were available the next day. Absolutely loved her work! All in all, the greatest thing about this experience was the personal touch Colleen offered. She was genuinely excited to be a part of this moment, and it showed in both her work and her willingness to help me plan out the perfect proposal. For anyone out there who has tried to plan a proposal in an unknown location, it can be pretty stressful. Colleen helped minimize this stress and left us with some amazing photos in the process! I've gotten countless compliments on the photos and will forever be happy that we have such beautiful documentation of our engagement.

Colleen is a lot of fun to work with! My bridal party can be a handful and she handled us all like a champ! she came earlier than expected which was a very nice surprise! we didn't have to wait long for the completed (edited) photos! Great experience!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is negotiable however, standard pricing is $225 per session with a minimum of 2 hours for weddings and special events. Family portrait sessions typically run $175 with unlimited subjects and poses. Hi Res downloads are included in price as well as travel up to 20 miles.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I interview my clients to find out exactly what they are looking for. I like to discuss details while developing a rapport with my clients to make everyone more comfortable when it is time to shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied through the NY Institute of photography, Was a member of Professional Photographers of America, Texas School of Photographers for 5 years, have earned many merits as well as have won an award and had my work published.
