- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typical pricing for a two bedroom home is $75, a three bedroom home $85 for weekly or bi-monthly service. Depending on the last time the house was cleaned and the quality of the former service, it may take two to three visits before the home is thoroughly clean.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial meet and greet is essential for us and our customers, especially if they are entrusting us with the key to their homes. At this time the customer will explain any special needs and/or requests they may have such as certain carpets that cannot have a vacuum beater brush, a family member with dementia who cannot have anything moved out of place, etc. It gives us an opportunity to see how much work needs to be done and the floor and counter tops materials.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Realtor, Appraiser and a former Insurance Inspector. I purchased my first handy-man special at the age of nineteen. This has given me the knowledge of housing materials what each requires for cleaning. Laminate flooring requires a different technique than hardwood for example. Bleach is a no-no for tile as it deteriorates the grout. Acidic solutions cannot be used on granite or marble. That pink/orange "mold" in the shower is bacteria, not mold, and is treated differently. We try to use eco friendly products whenever possible.
