Introduction

My name is Eliana and I am a certified teacher from Venice with 15 years of experience teaching Italian in the New York metropolitan area as well as across the US. I received a teaching certification from the Roccati Teaching school in Rovigo (Italy) and a MsEd from Hunter College (2016). I was one of the first teachers to use Skype to teach Italian to students who did not live in the NYC area. For that reason, I have developed a very effective remote teaching method. My students come from walks of life and they all have their unique needs , learning styles and goals. I teach beginner students through advanced and I also prepare students for standardized tests, school admission and the citizenship test. The best part about learning Italian with Eliana is that she caters each session to the things you need most to meet your personal goals. She also uses a variety of different approaches, mixing lessons and conversations and video comprehension. I'm definitely learning more faster than in a regular class setting.

Very patient teacher; really helpful with my continuance in learning the Italian language. I've learned at a much quicker pace in only a few months working with Eliana. She gives me someone to speak the language with on a consistent basis and makes it fun as well. Highly recommended to anyone trying to learn in a very comfortable environment.
