Introduction: After almost 30 years of working with many types of animals I learned that the more proactive and fair you are in your approach when working with animals the more they trust us and will follow our lead. I love learning animal specific behavior. I have worked with everything from Elephants, large exotic cats, camels , primates, Horses and dogs. Each animal species has different ways of communicating. If you are going to be a good leader and be proactive, you need to be able to read the precursors to behavior so you can capitalize on behavior you want to see. I LOVE teaching people how build a positive and trusting relationship with their pets.

Jeff was very good with our dog. He worked with him on biting at the leash and pulling while on the leash. In a short time we could see a difference in our dog. Jeff was very patient with our dog and his bad habits. He spent time one on one with our dog then had us come out and showed us some ways to work on his leash manners. Jeff went over things to do and not to do to help our dog become the dog we want. Jeff was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had.

Jeff came to my Mom's house to help with her Australian Cattle Dog puppy and I could tell just by his disposition that he was very knowledgeable and experienced. The puppy immediately took to him and was eager to learn a bit of obedience. Withing 24 hours, the puppy was doing everything with my Mom that Jeff had taught her and without the clicker. He was great. We have already scheduled a second session and will continue to use him for further training.

Jeff is going to be taking care of my 2 dogs and 3 cats who will be staying in my home while I am away for 9 days. He has met with me and my pets twice and has impressed me with his understanding and experience with animals and his obvious connection with animals. One of my dogs is a French Bulldog Puppy who has proven to be a handful for me, and Jeff has already taken the time to point out some behaviors that can be corrected with some guidance, patience, and persistence. I foresee a good future ahead having Jeff as an advisor and care-giver for my animal family. If you meet him you will want to have him on your team! He really is a professional.

I have rehabilitated several aggressive dogs and horses. Its a long process. One that requires building a foundation of trust. Once they trust, you start to see the real personality come to the surface. I LOVE what I do!
