- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Standard process is getting to know the basics. What type of event or how many people.. but communication is key! Finding out and listening to the little details is what counts. Even down to the type of straw or garnish that is used can really make an event magic!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bartending or serving special events. I have had over 15 years in service industry. Personal chef helped the Urban Bean open their kitchen, and help with their menu planing. I have a great deal of experience with dietary restrictions my families lifestyle is gluten free dairy free. I personally love cheese and meats! Personal assistant: running errands, grocery shopping, cleaning, sorting mail, making appointments- the list goes on! I am punctual, perky, love helping people accomplish their needs!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for the Loring Cafe in Mpls MN 17 years ago. From then on I helped bartend, food preparation, serving, then into management. I helped open 3 more restaurants/ Venus for the same company. I did event catering (set up, food service, bartending) for weddings, huge cooperate events, block parties. everything from staging, lighting, decor, planning out 9 course dinners, charity events. This lifestyle/ service industry is in my blood! I learned all aspects of the kitchens so I could jump in, and help out when needed. buffet or family style, exotic plated coursed dinners for 100+, prepping and passing appetizers, coffee and dessert tables. Good food, service, great drinks is what I live for!
