Introduction: As a private chef, I prepare and serve multiple meals for my client and their family each day. Generally, I would be responsible for all things related to food preparation and meal service, including safe and sanitary food handling practices, kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, maintaining kitchen inventories, and grocery shopping. Private chefs are not responsible for housecleaning, childcare, personal valet, and/or general house management. PRIVATE Chef Service: Full/part time service 1-5 days each week (Short- or long-term contracts can be easily negotiated) • Intimate dinner parties (4 - 8), Larger groups (10 +) • Romantic dinners for two • Holiday gatherings and special events • Business Luncheons • Plated, family style, or buffet service • Catering coordination or party planning • Cooking classes; individual or group; adults, teens, or young children • Wine-Food pairings and wine cellar management I offer the following: 1. - Working with the client on a daily, weekly or monthly menu 2. - Prepare meals which can be reheated at a later time 3. - Follow any cultural-, religious- or health-related restrictions in clients’ meals 4. - Purchasing and stocking of all food required for service 5. - Be open to special requests 6. - Proper storing of foods 7. - Creating exciting menus and tastings for perspective clients 8. - Good understanding of nutritional needs 9. - Awareness of any celebratory events that will need a special menu 10. - Work within a hygienic and sanitary approved kitchen 11. - Provide nutritious, safe and tasty food for clients 12. - Create a client approved budget 13. - Be aware and follow local- and state-approved health department guidelines 14. - Constant communication with clients for any changes of schedules or tastes 15. - Keep up with food trends 16. - Upon request, drop off and provide instructions for reheating of meals Each client will have different needs and expectations so the exact details pertaining to the services I would be expected to provide would be discussed during the in-depth client assessment and clearly explained in the performance contract. For this reason, salaries/wages can vary significantly. My salary or hourly rate would be based upon the scope and complexity of responsibilities and would be negotiated with each client, then captured in our contract. Duration of service is negotiable, with long- and short-term contracts available. How does my service/process work? INITIAL CONTACT: You make initial contact with me so we can schedule a complimentary, in-home consultation and client assessment. During this initial discussion, I will ask you several brief and preliminary questions that will help me establish what you're looking for in the way of food service. This will also help you determine whether this service is right for you and your family. COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION: I arrive at your home on the scheduled day and time to conduct a complimentary consultation where we discuss your general requirements and expectations, food and cuisine preferences, meal packaging methods, general meal frequency, major dietary considerations or challenges, etc. I will also conduct a preliminary kitchen facilities assessment (what equipment you have, condition of facilities, general kitchen layout, etc). This consultation takes roughly 45 minutes. I will also be able to give you a rough estimate of chef's fees and estimated food costs. From there, both parties should be able to decide whether to proceed to the next step. IN-DEPTH CLIENT ASSESSMENTS AND MENU DEVELOPMENT AND APPROVAL: Once you have decided to utilize my services, you would contact me to schedule a service date. Please note: A down payment for estimated chef's fees and food costs along with a signed client agreement will be required at this time. I will send you several detailed questionnaires pertaining to your meal service - this can be done via email, over the phone, or in person. I will use this information to build your customized menu and meal plans. We'll also discuss how you'd like to handle unique ingredients (purchase outright or use from my pantry). Once I understand all your food-related requirements, I'll submit a proposed menu that has been customized specifically for you and your family. After your approval of the menu, we'll need to meet briefly to transact payment of estimated groceries. SERVICE STARTS: On the scheduled service date, I will arrive at your house no later than requested. I bring the necessary groceries, supplies, and equipment and will begin food preparation and cooking. I will cook, cool, package, and store your menu items as we discussed. I will also provide detailed reheating instructions and clean up the kitchen, leaving you with a freezer full of delicious food to enjoy at your convenience. Finally, I will leave an invoice for any remaining balance from groceries and/or time needed to complete your service. FOLLOW UP: Approximately three days after your service, I'll follow up with you to ensure you're happy with the meals and to get feedback from you on the entire service. I'll also ask if you'd like to schedule another service date.

Anna delivers wonderful food that is not only delicious and authentic, but also presented thoughtfully and beautifully. She can effortlessly execute a banquet for 20, or just the right sandwich that you might be craving. I can't recommend her enough.
