- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained and received certifications in theater makeup, makeup application (MAC Cosmetics), bridal makeup, skincare (Dermalogica), airbrush makeup (TEMPTU) and am constantly looking for opportunities to learn and grow as an artist. I belive that keeping on trend and learning new techniques is one of the most important things in this feild.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been very artistic from a very young age. I have always loved to draw and paint (I also majored in studio art). I also was pretty young when I got into makeup. I went to catholic school most of my life and used to get in trouble for wearing winged eyeliner in the 7th grade! The first time I ever heard there was such a profession as being a makeup artist I knew that was what I wanted to do. Makeup Artistry is the only real passion I've ever had in life and even though I've gone through some rough patches I don't ever see myself giving up on my dream.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with celebrities, pro athletes, buisness women, models, bloggers, you name it! I specialize in beauty makeup so I love to work with brides and on photoshoots.
