Attend various Makeup Shows throughout the year, including "The Makeup Show" in Orlando- Florida and the IMATS (International Make-Up Artist Trade Show)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love art, since an early age I was involved in artistic activities, painting, sketching, sculpting. When I was 8 I started to apply makeup on my younger sister who was 5 at the time. Not only did I get grounded but I felt like I wanted to keep on getting grounded as long as I did makeup. In my teens I got a small makeup kit and I went crazy!, started applying makeup to go to school, then my friends would ask me to do their makeup for fun. Eventually I was working on every single female family member and friend. My parents didn't think makeup was a true profession and I went to college and graduated in a Medical Technology career. But my passion and love for makeup never went away making me a cosmetics hoarder. Finally a few years ago, I said I am not happy doing what I'm doing, I need to do Makeup for a living, and just like that with the support of my husband, daughters and family started working for a Freelancing Company and eventually with MAC Cosmetics where I got a vast training on the Makeup World and the World of Cosmetics.
