I have been tutoring for more than 9 years. I started tutoring when I was in high school and continued during my years at my community college, and now, I continue to tutor while attending UF College of Pharmacy. I have worked with students of wide age range as well as backgrounds in education. Because I went to community college, I had the fortunate opportunity to work with older students as well as younger students. I believe my unique skill set will help you or your children perform better in the classroom. Subjects that I can tutor are: Calculus I & II, Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, Pre-calculus, Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry, SAT, ACT, PCAT (96th percentile). The aspect of my work that I enjoy the most is when I see the Eureka or satisfied expression on the face of the students that I tutor. I take a lot of pride in my work. I always come prepared for each session, and personally, I enjoy helping another person become smarter and successful in his/her studies.

Mr. Nguyen is a good tutor. My son really struggles in Math. He keeps in contact you with you to assure that the schedule appointment is still going to take place. My son likes Mr. Nguyen we have only been doing tutorial for about 2 weeks. I will keep you posted about his success.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a base price of $30 per hour for tutoring in one subject. Any additional subjects with be an additional charge of $5 per subject.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor in Chemistry and currently working on a PharmD degree at UF College of Pharmacy Jacksonville Campus. I am a board certified tutor.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began tutoring when I was in highschool. I worked for a company called New Horizons throughout highschool and well into my college years. I then started working for Georgia State University tutoring program before becoming a private tutor.
