Introduction

Yoga has been commercialized and hybridized to a point where 'true' yoga asana practice barely exists. You do not become 'one with the earth' during the physical exercise of yoga. In my asana practice, our focus is posture, body alignment, breathing, and relaxation. The physical benefits of yoga are often experienced during your first practice; no need to wait weeks or months.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I return to the ashram where I received my certification for additional training in modifying asanas for individual students who may have unique limitations.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to expand my yoga knowledge and in doing so, I had the desire to share my classic Hatha Yoga with others.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Yoga is a personal exercise. The rewards extend beyond the physical benefits and my style of teaching allows my students the freedom to explore within their level of comfort.
