FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work faster than most. I can probably do in a few of hours what it takes a day for someone else to do. I can charge by the hour or a flat fee after having done a few months of work for you and knowing what's involved. Some people say "I don't write checks". That may be true but they have three pages of debit card transactions! That's just like checks to me. As far as bookkeeping rates are concerned it depends on how you keep your records. Are you paperless? Are you online? Do you do online banking? All of these factor in to my pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet with a new customer it's important to know how much they like (or hate) accounting. Some customers don't care about or want to know about the financials, they just want specific areas of there finances kept up. It's important to know the size of your business, how many employees, what type of business, how long have you been in business. All these factors are important. If you already are using software or do you need to get started. I treat every business as an individual and base my work on their individual needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Accounting Principles I & II at BCC in Hollywood, FL while I worked three other jobs and as soon as I finished I got a job. I have worked for many CPA's and accountants. I have also been office manager for a few companies. I'm a hard worker, loyal and ethical. As soon as I'm done with one job I ask for more.
