There are picture-takers, and there are studious photographers who have an thorough understanding of the developmental life cycle all humans experience and strive to create and preserve these various stages in the most remarkable way! I am such a photographer and my connection to my subjects and my photography culminate in an artistic expression that distinctly sets my work apart from commonplace picture-taking. Personally, I have photographed many thousands of portraits, decisive moments with photojournalism, photographed a myriad of events and people from corporate groups to individuals, families, children and births.
I most enjoy that I have frozen time for all time. Photography is my passion; a calling that stems from obtaining the highest level of appreciation for the extraordinary lives of people--all ages. My work represents a study of each individual's uniqueness, personality and character, where I not only want to capture a likeness they will treasure but will tell a story through the photographic process. I treasure the idea that through my careful and devoted planning, time, skill and talent, my images will continue to bring pleasure long after I am gone.

Words cannot begin to describe the quality of her work!!!
For starters, Piper responded within 15 min to my FRANTIC request about my son’s college graduation photo session and booked me the next day!!!!!
Upon our initial meeting ( parking lot of my son’s college apartment ) she was able to deflect my crazy stress with her beautiful smile and comforting personality!!!
She made me feel like I was her ONLY client in the world!!!!
Not only did she respond immediately to my last minute request, she delivered on all FRONTS of PROFESSIONALISM!!!
She and her assistant instantly bonded with my son and I despite our chaotic stressed out state of mind. Piper instantly Calmed us down with her personal intuition, NO sales involved .... just good old fashion human compassion.
She immediately realized I was a mom of a college graduate that was an emotional wreck & somehow made me feel like I was family, NOT a paying customer!!!
Her beautiful presence , amazing talent , creativeness, professionalism, patience & intuition is the quality that the vast majority of photographers lack!!!!
Piper created memories for me that are priceless!! I have hired photographers throughout my years
( I am 45 years old) but I have NEVER met a photographer that just stopped ...& really took time to TRULY understand the MEMORIES that I wanted to cherish! I will never get back that week I spent with my son leading up to his college graduation but heartwarming THANKS to Piper , I will always have the memories .... as will my generations to come!!!!
I hope I can afford her in 3 years to fly up for my middle son’s high school graduation in Alaska!;) :)

Piper Summers Photography is like no other. She can shoot just about anything and have it looking like the million dollar shot! Very much appreciated the opportunity I had with her shooting some fast action derby as well as some portraits, definitely going to be coming back! I hope you do as well.

Piper is not only an incredible photojournalist, but a meticulous visual artist with portraiture (individuals, group, family) throughout the lifepspan, as well as architectural, commercial, food, corporate, and wedding photography. She has twenty years experience as a photographer and continues to hone her skills in Photoshop through classroom and independent study, which is a hard software to learn. Also, I must applaud her for her level of preparation before shoots to ensure she delivers exactly what a client expects and more.

A consummate professional! No surprises because she was completely prepared both before, during and after the shoot. I knew what I was getting and how I was getting it up front. Also, despite the confusion of shooting my large (and rambunctious) family the results were better that I could have imagined!! In addition, she shot multiple advertising spreads for my business practice with the same approach and "wow" results. Don't make a mistake and hire another photographer!
