I chose Bay 10 Flooring after reading many (all) detailed 5 star reviews. I am joining the 5 star club because they were excellent and very deserving of it! Communication was quick and professional. Travis helped in picking the LVP flooring I was replacing from disgusting carpet in my master bathroom. Devin did an amazing job. I have a Mobil home that’s over 40 years old and the particle board sub-floor was getting soft spots in my living and dining rooms. I asked Alex to come over to give me a repair plan and free estimate. He told me he could repair just the soft spots but that because of the age of the home new soft spots would probably happen within a year or two. He thought I’d be better off in the long run to install 3/4 inch plywood over the existing sub-floor. He then quoted me a price for an all new plywood sub-floor that was just slightly more than other contractors estimates for just patching soft spots. I hired Alex for the job and he was punctual, hard working, respectful and did an excellent job. He finished the project on time and his final bill was less than his estimate! I would definitely hire him again if other rooms in my house need work in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
all of my pricing is based on square footage. the only variance is when working in small spaces like bathrooms or mudrooms.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
typical process for a new customer is meeting and writing up an estimate. Then deciding on a product. Most flooring requires that it acclimates to the installation area a day or two prior to the actual install, so we make sure this process happens. Then the old flooring comes out, the subfloor is prepared, and your new floor gets installed!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A friend of mine ran a flooring company in Colorado, and when i lived there i would help him on various projects. I enjoy the work, and love seeing the final product
