FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated..... $35 per hour, billed by the half-hour (@ $18)....... what is expected from the sessions is discussed prior to beginning them, and always with the understanding that there is no guarantee of success...... unfortunately, there is always that possibility lurking that there is a quirk that will not allow success. Photography sessions are also $35 per hour, on site, plus $50 for disc/stick (your choice) with all viable photos contained therein.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read a good deal about others who use natural horsemanship techniques, and anything I can find on the fairly new use of Reiki on animals. I do regular 'refresher' Reiki classes, where discussions are sometimes fruitful, and I keep myself up-to-date with my own horses, so that the more technical skills are not lost in the communication efforts.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Starting with my first horse, a 6 month-old 3/4 Arabian colt, I realized an ability to communicate with the little guy, without using whips and harsh 'mechanical' devices..... and was rewarded with an affectionate companion that was always fun to be with, and was a trustworthy mount to teach even a 4-year-old to ride! I knew then, that I wanted to train and teach, so that many others could find the joy in their horses that I had.
