- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Notarization and all other services are by appointment only. Typically respond to inquiries within several hours and will request necessary details in advance to ensure you are fully prepared. This includes confirming the number of signatures required and whether any witnesses are needed. If you are unable to provide witnesses as required by your document(s), We can supply witness(es) for an additional $25.00 fee, separate from the travel fee, in order to bring witness or witnesses to your chosen location. Important requirements required by law: to present a unexpired Government-Issued Photo ID to help prevent fraud and secure declaration of signers' identity. Walk the client through the completed return, explaining key items and answering any questions. Adjustments are made if necessary, based on client feedback. Once approved, proceed with e-filing or mailing the return(s). After filing, we remain available to address any follow-up questions, assist with tracking refunds, or provide support in the event of audits or notices. We encourage year-round communication for tax planning, advising clients on strategies to optimize their financial outcomes and reduce future liabilities. All tasks are completed through secure, encrypted client portal online. Our portal is SOC 2 certified, providing industry-leading protection for your data. Secure portal enables you to electronically sign consents, disclosure and engagement letter(s). Complete tax organizer with essential information about yourself and your circumstances, then upload your documents. Examine and electronically sign your tax return. Once your appointment is confirmed and our conference call is completed, we will reserve a dedicated time in SKYY schedule exclusively for you. Appointment Confirmation and Deposit Policy: Please note that appointments are only secured upon receipt of a deposit payment, which must be made in advance of the scheduled appointment time. Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: Please note that once your appointment has been scheduled, that time is reserved exclusively for you. If you plan to cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a minimum rebooking charge of $50.00. To avoid any cancellation or rebooking fee, please provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours notice prior to your appointment. You can cancel or reschedule appointment by email, text or phone call. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Upon scheduling, clients will receive an email confirmation along with appointment reminders to ensure timely preparation. Upon completion of call, a final invoice will be issued, with payment required electronically. Accepted forms of payment include PayPal a secure electronic payment method. Full payment is due immediately upon receipt of the final invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In addition to notarial services, SKYY offer printing at $25.00, scanning at $10.00, and mailing at $75.00 of documents for client convenience. Ancillary services are subject to additional charges, calculated as the actual cost of postage plus per printed page or scanning.
