I really wanted to do something special for my wife for our 11 year Anniversary. I spoke with Chef Dan and he made sure that the night would be memorable. The food was absolutely amazing, his professionalism and service was top notch it was just like we were in the restaurant. He made sure to explain each dish and his homemade ricotta was by far the best I ever tasted. This was the first time that my wife and I had a personal Chef and will not be the last. He worked with us through the whole process and made sure to make food we would enjoy. Chef Dan thank you, thank you, thank you for making this day special, I look forward to working with you again.Aug 31, 2020VerifiedPersonal Chef Dan's reply

Chef Dan was amazing! He made my friends 40th birthday dinner extra special. The meal was amazing - from the homemade pasta to the lemoncello. It was fantastic! He was pleasant and was apart of our evening without being intrusive. He cleaned up and took care of every lady detail. He was amazing. I completely recommend chef Dan and the experience he will create for you.Aug 16, 2020VerifiedPersonal Chef Dan's reply

Excellent dining experience with chef Dan. It felt like being on the chef table in a 5 star restaurant. Chef Dan created a perfect menu for our wedding anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and with excellent presentation! The price is very reasonable and he went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. We will definitely hire chef Dan again in a very near future.Jul 31, 2020VerifiedPersonal Chef Dan's reply
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you Andres! I look forward to hearing from you again!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing starts at: $75 per person for 3-course dinner including dessert $100 and up per person for 4-course and dessert $175 per person for 4-course dinner plus wine pairing or cocktail hour with our Bartender * Prices may vary depending on chosen protein, and group size. Pricing goes down the bigger the group size and food served plated versus family/buffet style. * Pricing always includes kitchen clean up and dishes put away * Grocery costs are at the expense of the customer (message me and I will give you ball park range and provide receipts upon arrival). * Tips are not included in pricing, but are always greatly appreciated!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When a customer inquires to work with me, I follow up with a message asking questions about the menu they desire, then follow up with a menu consultation call shortly after where we discuss the planning of the menu in more detail. Once menu is agreed on, I send the chef services invoice for the client to review and pay. In order to secure the date, a 50% deposit is required. Then once their deposit is paid, I hit the ground running with sourcing ingredients and getting started on making the broths and fresh pasta for their event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been a private chef since 2013 which pleasantly happened by accident while au pairing for a family in France when they needed both a private chef and babysitter, so i became both and learned how much I loved cooking for others! I later trained and studied Fermentation Science in Germany and graduated with a bachelors in 2015. A lot of the science behind brewing beer and making wine relates to cooking! Cooking with wine or beer is also a fantastic way to bring more flavor to a dish!
