Hands down Cory is the absolute best personal trainer I've had. He pushes you and pays close attention to your body to make sure you are doing the exercises the right way. He is also super attentive and knowledgeable and very easy to talk to.

Cory is an exceptional trainer. I have trained with him for four years. When I first signed up for a trainer, I asked for someone who knew about kettlebells, and in Cory I got that and a lot more. Over then next number of years, he took my older and somewhat injury-prone body from being afraid to do many exercises (because knees!) to doing kettlebell snatches, deadlifts, dead bugs, and pullups, among other things. During the inevitable moments when I’d turn up to workout injured, rather than skipping the workout, he thoughtfully modified his plan so that I could still get gentle movement in and work other muscles, which was great in combatting the I’m-injured-and-feeling-sorry-for-myself blues. In addition to keeping an eagle eye on my technique and progressing me over time to more complex and interesting exercises, he also has a strong knowledge of physiology and practices PRI, from the Postural Restoration Institute. He used these techniques to help me be more resilient and injure less frequently. I recall working out with him after a car accident left me with whiplash and associated dizziness, and he showed me a PRI technique that actually took away the dizziness. Why would I go to workout only days after an accident? Because I trusted him to have something for me even in my degraded state! We did not do deadlifts immediately after, but thanks to his knowledge and patience, I was doing deadlifts again soon enough. Cory is also that rare beast in this day and age- extremely reliable. I cannot recall a time during those four years when he left me hanging for a workout, or didn’t inform me well in advance of upcoming vacations or time off. In the time I knew him, he advanced from being just a trainer to being in charge of a team of trainers. He also attended and then arranged workshops for PRI courses for fellow trainers. That he supports growth in himself as well as in his clients speaks volumes of good things about him and his work ethic. You can’t go wrong with Cory as your trainer. +100 recommend!
