We were seeking to replace a 270-foot gravel driveway with a stone driveway and add a French Drain to keep the water from pooling. We selected Down East Contracting out of a group of quotes because of the way that Joe described the process. Their quote wasn't the lowest, but it was the most complete. Their quote introduced some things that neither we nor other quotes considered.I would recommend this team for several reasons including earning your trust, dedication to earning your approval, and flexibility when setbacks are encountered. I appreciate that the whole team made sure we were on the same page throughout the process and they left the site respectfully clean. First time I ever had any company clean up. Before and after pictures are included.

We loved working with Joe! Joe and his team converted our enclosed masonry porch into a bonus room and additional bedroom. He is honest, dependable, and does quality work. He also went the extra mile to help us across the finish line with our house remodel project. He has a lot of contacts and great subcontractors. Would highly recommend for your building needs!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Down East Contracting.They rebuilt a 60's leaking, failing jalousied porch and made it a beautiful room that is clearly our favorite space.Joe and the crew were professional yet personable. If not on time, they were early, and they cleaned up at the end of each day.We plan to use Down East for all of our future projects!
