FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Carhart Plumbing believes in clear, straightforward pricing with no surprises. Before work begins, we explain the problem, review the recommended solution, and make sure the customer understands the expected cost. Pricing varies depending on the type of service, materials required, complexity of the repair, and whether the work is residential, commercial, remodeling, new construction, or emergency service. When possible, we provide upfront or clearly defined pricing so customers can make an informed decision before authorizing the work. We do not believe in unnecessary upselling. Our goal is to recommend the right solution for the property, complete the work correctly, and provide long-term value. For larger projects, construction work, or ongoing commercial service, customized estimates and project-based pricing may be available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is simple, professional, and focused on making the experience as easy as possible for the customer. When a new customer contacts Carhart Plumbing, we start by learning about the issue, project, or service they need. Our team gathers the necessary information, schedules the appropriate technician or project representative, and communicates clearly about what to expect. Once on site, we evaluate the plumbing system, identify the problem or scope of work, and explain our findings in straightforward terms. We review the recommended solution, discuss pricing and available options, and make sure the customer understands the work before we proceed. During the job, we protect the property, keep the work area clean and organized, and communicate if anything changes. Before leaving, we test the completed work, clean the area, and review exactly what was done along with any recommended next steps. Our goal is to provide every new customer with the same experience: clear communication, professional workmanship, respect for their property, and no unnecessary surprises.
