- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lawn professionals do not charge by the hour, but on average, you should expect to pay about $1.00 per minute per worker. If one employee works on your lawn for an average of 30 minutes, then you should expect to pay $30 per visit. If two employees work on your lawn for 2 hours per visit, then you should expect to pay about $240 per visit. This estimate does not include hedging, weed killing and other related services. There are many factors that can increase the price but this information gives you a general idea of what you can expect to pay. It's always best to have a professional provide you with a free on-site inspection, but homewyse.com is a great resource to use when budgeting for a new project. That's the same tool that Jr's Property Care uses when we create estimates to make sure our customers are treated fairly when we charge for a project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You'll communicate with Dee Perez who will gather basic information such as your business name and contact information. Dee will schedule a walkthrough of the property and provide you with a written estimate within 24-48 hours. The estimate will include the services provided, the charge per service, the number of service visits per year, and disclosures.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dee Perez supports all business communications and relationships, and has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree. Dee has over 20 years of customer service experience working for national communication industries. Junior Perez supports the on site, hands-on labor along with one of the most devoted and hard-working employees a business owner can find. Junior has over 30 years experience working in property care and lawn care and has obtained his Green Management & Practices in Green Industries certificate through the University of Florida.
