I had saved t-shirts and jerseys from my daughter’s softball and basketball career from age 5 through college and Patti turned them into an amazing memory quilt! While she was working on it, she sent photos at every stage and asked my opinion on colors and set-up. I just received the quilt and it is top quality and, I know, will be a cherished keepsake for my daughter for years. I recommend Stitches n Ditches if you have special memories that you want made into a beautiful memory quilt.

Working with Patti was a great experience, she is very dedicated and seems to love her work. I never had any issues getting ahold of her. There was one time where she had to delay my project for another (for very understandable reasons) and immediately told me what was happening and why it was happening. Yet even with the delay of finishing another project she still had mine done almost a month early. If I were to get another quilt I will definitely be going through her again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For long arm quilting services - beginning at $.02 / inch for edge to edge designs. price / inch increases due to level of customized quilting chosen. For custom quilt creation, pricing is based upon the size of the requested quilt. Price will be all inclusive, you will receive a completely finished quilt with no hidden charges or fees. I sell batting at $12 / yard I will provide binding and trimming services for an extra charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A hand made quilt is a wondrous thing. I will talk with you and together we will arrive at a mutually agreed upon design. The quote you receive from me will be based upon that agreement, and is open to adjustments should you decide to either increase or decrease the amount of customization in your project. Thread choices, pattern design, etc. are your choice. I will provide advice and help you with your decisions. In the end the final product will be yours, I want you to be happy with it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been sewing for nearly 30 years , quilting for five years, and Long-Arming quilting for myself and others for 2 years. I have taken numerous classes, both locally and at nationally offered events. I belong to two area Quilters Guilds: Stone House Quilters Guild (of which I am the Secretary and member of the Board) and Cabin Branch Quilters Guild.
