- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend the Florida Association of Legal Document Preparers annual conference.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I sat down with my parents and got all their documents labeled and organized for safe-keeping as well as found out what they wanted to have done when they passed away and even wrote their own personalized obituaries ahead of time to ensure that the information about them was accurate.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A friend of mine who was a local nurse wanted to donate her body to the University of Florida, but did not have the official form filled out in order to have this done one day; therefore, the two of us worked together and filled it out, had it witnessed, and mailed it to the proper department to be on file. This was a big relief to her to have it completed.
