FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by asking a few simple questions so I can understand exactly what you’re looking for. Once we’re on the same page, we’ll chat through pricing, and if everything feels right, I’ll send over a quick contract to lock things in. I always show up early, and you’ll have your finished photos within a week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got my start photographing events and weddings while serving in the Navy, then went on to study Photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Since then, I’ve photographed around 30 weddings and volunteered for nonprofit events, giving me experience with many different styles of photography. Working under the pressure of weddings has trained me to stay calm, focused, and detail‑oriented — which means family sessions, portraits, and birthday parties feel comfortable, and you get great results.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad had a digital camera when I was in high school, and I was instantly hooked. I’d spend hours experimenting with light, angles, and anything around me that caught my eye. I still remember photographing fall leaves and being amazed at how a little intention — and a single click — could turn an everyday moment into something beautiful. That feeling never left, and it’s a big part of why I love what I do today.
