- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The client should be aware of any fees that are applicable to the job they requested ? This should be figured out in advance of the booking so that the cost is transparent to the customer before they decide on a sitter.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask the owner about the care, exercise needs, medication and feeding of the pet. I then get a medical history and the name and **************** of the current vet. I ask about any emergency situation and where they want me to go in the event of an emergency and ask that they provide that clinic with payment information so that they can be billed for any necessary emergency services. I ask that customer for a ********************************** while they are away. I will also ask what care expectations they have for this booking and keep notes on my phone. This allows me instant access to the information I need and allows me to keep a schedule on my calendar.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 8 years experience in the veterinary field so I know the care and feeding requirements of most if not all of the usual pets and exotics. I have pet sat for 6 cats for my mom’s friend many times and boarded my boyfriend’s sister’s dog at my house. All were extremely satisfied with what I provided
