FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Transparent & Predictable Pricing – No Hidden Fees At Kelley Information Technology (KIT), we focus on clear, upfront pricing tailored for small and mid-sized businesses in Central Florida (Orlando, Lake Mary, Maitland, Sanford, Winter Park, and surrounding areas). All costs are quoted in advance, with no surprise charges. Core Pricing Models (Current as of 2026) Managed IT Services (Per User): $119–$189 per user/month depending on the tier and included services (proactive monitoring, patching, cybersecurity, helpdesk, etc.). Lower tier example: Managed IT Essentials at $65/user/month (or $60/user/month on annual agreement) — includes continuous monitoring, patching, discounted hourly rates, weekly backups, and monthly reports. Break/Fix (On-Demand) Support: Standard: $85/hour Emergency (critical outages, security incidents): $115/hour Discounted Prepaid Hour Blocks: $75/hour (10-hour minimum) for planned/scheduled non-urgent work. One-Time IT Tune-Up: Flat $199 (up to 8 hours onsite) for system cleanup, optimization, and stabilization. Popular SMB Essentials Bundles Cybersecurity Hardening Baseline: One-time $45/user + optional ongoing monitoring $5/user/month. Webmaster Starter Pack (website care): Starting at $49/month. VoIP Startup Pack: Starting at $19/month per user. Business Continuity / BCDR: $249 per server (includes 500GB) + $0.30/GB over; or $18 per device + $0.10/GB. Strategic Automation Playbook: Starting at $1,500 (one-time) + optional management from $49/month. Key Benefits & Discounts Annual agreements save money (e.g., lower per-user rates on Managed IT). Bundling services (Managed IT + Cybersecurity + Backup) typically yields better value and predictability. No long-term contracts required on most plans — we earn your business monthly. Initial consultation, network assessment, and quotes are always free. Transparent — we clearly define what’s in-scope vs. out-of-scope. Our pricing is competitive with (or better than) Orlando market rates while delivering proactive, security-first support instead of reactive break/fix.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Structured, Low-Disruption Onboarding Process At Kelley Information Technology (KIT), we’ve designed a clear, business-first onboarding process specifically for small and mid-sized businesses in Central Florida. We call it the KIT Start — it’s built to minimize disruption while quickly delivering value, stability, and security. 1. Let’s KIT Started: Discovery & Assessment (Understanding Your Technology Environment)We begin with a focused discovery session (usually 30–60 minutes, free for qualified businesses). During this phase we: Review your current IT infrastructure, systems, hardware, software, and cloud tools Discuss your day-to-day workflows, pain points, business goals, and compliance needs Identify security gaps, inefficiencies, downtime risks, and optimization opportunities This step gives us (and you) a clear picture of where you are today and where you want to go. Many businesses choose our Detailed IT Assessment ($199 up to 8 hours) for a deeper dive that includes a prioritized IT roadmap. 2. The BrainKIT: Strategy & Planning (Smart IT Solutions for Real Business Challenges) Once we understand your environment, we collaborate with you to create a customized IT plan that aligns technology with your actual business needs — not a generic template. We deliver: Tailored recommendations for security, reliability, performance, and scalability Clear options for Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity Hardening, Backup/DR, or other solutions Transparent pricing proposal with no hidden fees You’ll know exactly what’s included, what it costs, and the expected results before any work begins. 3. The Full KIT-Out: Deploy, Train & Support (Seamless Implementation)When you’re ready to move forward, we execute with minimal downtime: Deployment & configuration of monitoring tools, security solutions, backups, and any new systems Employee training and onboarding so your team knows how to use everything effectively Continuous monitoring, proactive maintenance, and fast response to any issues Most Managed IT clients are fully protected within 1–4 weeks depending on the services (e.g., one week for basic Managed IT Essentials, 2–4 weeks for full Cybersecurity Hardening). What Makes Our Process Different Proactive & accountable — You work directly with experienced local professionals, not a rotating help desk. No pressure — The initial consultation and assessment provide real value even if you decide not to proceed. Central Florida focused — Faster onsite support when needed and deep understanding of local business challenges. Transparent & flexible — Clear scoping, no long-term contracts on most plans, and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on new Managed IT agreements. Our goal is simple: stable, secure technology that supports your growth instead of slowing you down.
