- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50 for an hour lesson. $30 for a half hour. I offer a 10% discount for students who pay for four lessons or more in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find out a bit about the student's skill level and the kind of music they're interested in learning, then we jump right in. I tailor each lesson to the needs and interests of the student. That way each student has a unique experience that will keep them interested, and having fun while learning. If it's not fun, what's the point?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied guitar at Berklee College of Music, and National Guitar Workshop, as well as studying with several great private teachers. I have a comprehensive knowledge of music theory, and of lead and rhythm guitar techniques. I've been teaching guitar and bass guitar for over 10 years, and I have 20 years experience performing on stage.
