FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing depends on the type of work, number of items, location, ceiling height if applicable, materials needed, and how much time the job will take. Small handyman jobs usually start around $259, depending on the scope and distance. For the fastest and most accurate estimate, please send 3–5 photos, a short description, your ZIP code, and your preferred timing. If you have several small repairs, I can usually give a better bundled price when they are done in one visit. I try to keep pricing fair and clear before scheduling. I am not always the cheapest option, but I focus on clean work, good communication, and doing the job properly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
What is your typical process for working with a new customer? First, I ask the customer to send photos or a short video of the work area, along with a short description, ZIP code, and preferred timing. This helps me understand the scope before scheduling. Then I review the details, ask any important questions, and provide either a clear estimate or a price range. Once we agree on the scope, we schedule the visit. During the job, I protect the work area, complete the repair or installation, and clean up before leaving. My goal is to make the process simple, clear, and stress-free.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? I have hands-on experience with common handyman repairs, home maintenance, installations, and small improvement projects. My work includes drywall repair, painting, doors, trim, furniture assembly, TV mounting, light fixtures, ceiling fans, outlets, switches, faucets, toilets, caulking, tile repairs, and general punch-list work. I focus on practical problem-solving, proper tools, clean workmanship, and clear communication with the customer. For work that requires a licensed specialist, I let the customer know instead of taking unnecessary risks.
